It is mentioned by Michelle and Cas that USIC has a training base of operations on Mars and potentially controls and maintains several space stations in orbit around Earth and its moon.
It is presently unknown what led to its establishment, the proliferation of its technology, or whether the United States exercises total dominance in space through USIC.
