Justin Chatwin (born October 31, 1982) is a Canadian actor, known for his roles in Hollywood feature films like War of the Worlds (2005), The Invisible (2007), and Dragonball Evolution (2009). He portrays Erik Wallace on Netflix's Another Life.

Biography

Chatwin was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, to Suzanne, an artist, and Brian Chatwin, an engineer. He was raised Catholic alongside his two sisters, Brianna and Claire. In 2001, he made the first step for breaking into the movie business, as he was dared by a friend to go on an audition for a TV show in Canada, ultimately being called back and hired. After that, he began to study commerce at the University of British Columbia and took acting lessons in his spare time. He moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and lived for a time with actor Noel Fisher.
