Throughout the Series[]

Season 1[]

Erik tries calling Niko at a restaurant when he is approached by Harper Glass, who he says fucked Niko over nine years ago, but she asks if they can move past it and also asks if Niko was dead. Erik tells her that this was not one of her gossip shows and tells her to leave, but she wants to know the truth and he tells her that he would not answer her questions.

Jana watches Harper's news and starts walking away from Erik, telling him that if he won't do anything about the soldiers then she would, asking if Niko had died. Erik tells her that they had just lost communication, but admits that he should have told her before.

Erik tells his coworker that he had told Harper everything she needed even though he did not ask a question. His coworker tells him that she filled in the gaps, which gives Erik and idea. He believes that the audio the artifact had blasted at them contained something they had not seen: the negative patterns, which was a sort of puzzle.

Later, Cas tells everyone that Ian was her rival at first, but thanks him for helping her grow as an astronaut and believed that in his heart, he thought he was right. However, during the eulogy, Petra starts retching uncontrollably and cracking her spine and other bones. Zayn does not know what to do and the crew does nothing but watch.

Erik runs and stumbles upon Harper. She is glad to have his attention and tells him that he is on borrowed time in Dubois' eyes. She wonders if he would leave Niko alone so as not to risk his integrity and he leaves.

Erik and Harper bet on trivia

Erik and Harper ended up betting on trivia.

Erik is getting desperate because they cannot crack the song. He tells Singh that they should go to the bar. There, he sees Harper again which angers him. However, she tells him that she only wants the truth. He tells her that if he wins at trivia, she would leave him alone for a month, but if she wins she gets half an hour to talk about The Artifact. At trivia, Erik complains about pop culture questions, but he ends up winning with his team anyway.

While on a run, Erik stumbles upon Harper and gives her a data cube and tells her to put it out there and see if her followers could figure it out.

Dubois berates Erik and Harper

Dubois yelled at Erik and Harper after they revealed classified information.

On Earth, Harper walks with Singh and Erik, discussing a solution to The Artifact proposed by a kid, who says that light is the language and believes that they need to hit the Artifact with a certain amount of soundwaves. They walk into a room, where they find Dubois waiting for them. She knows Erik leaked the information and asks Harper if she knows what North Korea and Russia were doing with her publicity stunt, saying that she could have her deported. Harper tells her that even if she was not born there, she was an American citizen, so Dubois turns to Erik. She tells him that if some kid can figure out what he has not been able to, he might be able to keep his job, but if nothing comes of it, he will spend 50 years in prison.

Erik and Harper take a boat to Old Seattle and talk to Marcus, who explains his theory. He shows them the distortion the waves had and found out what the soundwave looked like.

Egan tries manipulating Harper

Egan tried manipulating Harper, telling her to make Sasha look good.

Harper is locked inside a small room and is approached by Egan, who tells her that he transferred Dubois. He knows that she stole another person's story, who had died in a war. He asks her if she had met Sasha and she knows his story, knowing that he wanted to be president. He tells her that the stories that were about him, should really be about Sasha, and she tells her that she would not risk her reputation for his goals.

Later, Erik is approached by Harper as he works and she tells him that she had been approached by Egan. They begin trials, sending a drone into the Artifact. However, as soon as the drone went in, they lost signal. Harper notices some movement and Sasha's image is displayed.

Egan prepares to go inside the Artifact with a military team, which Harper points out the president had not agreed to. Harper asks to be suited up, threatening him to paint him cowardly in his story, ultimately getting what she wants.

Erik gets up and Harper is dragged into the Artifact, which closes behind her. Mila finds Jana on the ground and calls for Erik. When Erik turns around, he finds Jana on the floor, so he picks her up and starts calling for help.

Erik walks up to the Artifact and tells him that he needs answers because it was killing Jana. All of a sudden a door opens once again and Harper came out of the Artifact. Erik hugs and comforts her, telling everyone to call an ambulance.

Erik hugs Jana and is approached by Dubois, who tells him that Harper refuses to talk to her except wanting to find out about him. However, he refuses because the Artifact had attacked Jana, so Harper would have to talk to somebody else because he was done. However, Dubois tells him that Harper was not really Harper anymore and reveals an object akin to Sasha's on her brain.

Harper tells Erik that the Achaia could cure Jana

Harper told Erik that the Achaia could cure Jana.

Erik and Dubois enter the room where Harper is at and she tells him that he looks tired. Erik reads a script and Harper says that she is fine, saying that the implant on her brain was not put on by force. Harper tells him that the aliens were called the Achaia and they liked Erik because he was not quite right. Erik believes that the reason that happened is because she has an audience, but she says that the reason is Jana. Harper says that the energy surge was for the Achaia to protect themselves, but they did not know that Jana was nearby and they know that she has a genetic anomaly which makes her more vulnerable to radiation than most children, but the Achaia could cure her. Erik is dragged away after that.

Erik told he needs to help Harper escape

Harper told Erik that in order to save Jana, he needed to get her out of there.

When Harper eats, she finds a comm device in the silverware. Erik and her start talking and he asks how he could save Jana. Harper tells him that the only way that could happen would be for him to get her out of there.

Erik wants to talk to Harper

Erik wanted to talk to Harper about saving Jana, but he was forced to stay silent.

A doctor tells Erik that she was still seeing high leukemia cells, which would mean that she would die soon if things did not change. Meanwhile, Harper begs Erik to save her as she is dragged away, but he is forced to stay silent.

Erik wears a hat and face mask and walks into a room, where he sees Harper alive and soldiers dead. Harper is crying at a corner and says that the guards were going to kill her.

Erik comes to terms with what Harper did to the guards and wonders how it was even possible for her, but she does not know. Erik offers her his tag so she could move around, but tells her that Jana was dying. Harper tells him to take Jana to the Artifact since the Achaia did not abandon their friends and she takes his tag.

Harper goes online and tells all her followers that she went inside the Artifact and spoke to the Achaia. She says that the Achaia have a message: the Achaia want to be Earth's friends.

Personality[]

Her personality displayed so far is narcissistic and obsessive.

As a social media-influencer journalist, she has repeatedly demonstrated her willingness to put her pursuit of a story above a code of ethics - at times resorting to intimidation by stating her number of followers and that "perception matters." Her ability to ferret out the weaknesses of others and exploit them to her own benefit is demonstrative of savage cunning and strategy.

With 250 million adoring followers, Harper Glass is a force in Earth-media that few can match.
