Earth is a planet appeared in the first season of Another Life.
Information[]
Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the only astronomical object known to harbor life. According to radiometric dating and other sources of evidence, Earth formed over 4.5 billion years ago. Earth's gravity interacts with other objects in space, especially the Sun and the Moon, Earth's only natural satellite.
Noted to have 213 countries with over 9 billion inhabitants, the United States still appears to be a major player in both planetary and interplanetary affairs. It is referenced by General Dubois that Russia and a United Korea are key global players/rivals to the United States.
It also appears that an unknown period known as the Floods devastated the U.S. Northeastern Corridor with cities such as Boston and Washington DC becoming "Water Cities." Noted by Oliver, St. Petersburg, Russia succumbed to the Floods as well.
At present, it is unknown what led to the development of FTL, the year it was developed, or the year in which the story of the series takes place. It is set in the near future post 2038, likely not after 2050 by using context clues from S2E1. It is revealed that Dominic Gray, a computer engineer from Team 3, was the coder that solved a software glitch akin to the real world "Y2K bug" in the year 2038. Given the speed of technology advancement, and the characters age, it is unlikely his expertise would extend into the second half of the 21st century.
During a Trivia game it is revealed that, “The Elon Musk Space Station”, takes exactly 92 minutes to orbit the Earth.
