Season 2[]

Richard and William wake Dillon up

Richard and William woke Dillon up, needing somebody qualified.

In soma, William tells Richard he is confused as to why they were waking up a member of team three, but Richard says they need someone with field experience and he wakes up Dillon Conner, shocked that William would have them wake someone up who was not qualified. Dillon wakes up to hear things are not going as planned. He asks for his prosthetic leg, which Richard goes to get.

On the Salvare, the FTL drive is stopped and Javie feels a large amount of pain. Dillon tells them that it was due to a magnetar; Iara tells them that Javier was having a seizure, so Richard tells Zayn to go there. Richard asks if they could stabilize the FTL array, but William tells him that there was no time.

William, Dillon, and Richard figure magnetar can hurt the Achaia

William, Dillon, and Richard figured out that the magnetar can hurt the Achaia.

William tells Richard that an Achaian ring was 400,000 kilometers away from them and seemed like it was down, since there was a lot of damage to the exterior hull and many power fluctuations to the ring. Dillon and Richard realize that that meant that the magnetar affected the Achaia differently and William tells them that he was not picking any life signs up. Richard tells William to take them there.

As the Salvare heads towards the Achaian vessel, Richard tells everybody that the magnetar proves that the Achaia are not invincible. Dillon says that if they could weaponize it, they would have the best weapon in the universe. Richard says that they need to analyze it and Bernie points out that they have a piece of the Artifact on the ship, which meant that they could a real-time analysis of the molecular structure when the next blast hit them, which William says could be at any given moment. However, when Bernie and Richard reach the piece of the Artifact, they find it turned to dust.

Richard and Dillon remove Javier's implant

Richard and Dillon removed Javier's implant so they could analyze the effects of the magnetar.

Bernie tries supporting Zayn, but ze tells him not to talk since ze was busy doing keyhole brain surgery. Ze starts touching the thing in Javier's head, which wakes him up and he starts pushing everyone. He walks up to Zayn, but Bernie distracts him until Dillon punches him from behind his back and they hold him down, while Richard removed the small bug. Javier instantly falls and Richard says that his sacrifice would not be in vain.

Niko and Cas make it back to the Salvare, where Richard tells them that Achaian technlogy is susceptible to high-density neutrino bursts. Niko asks how they could stop that so that they could save them in order to save Earth. She tells Richard that neither parties trusted each other, but if they saved them, then they would have earned the Achaia's trust. However, Richard does not know if they could even save them since each eruption had been stronger than the last one, so they needed to leave. Niko agrees, but says that they would not leave without the Achaia. She greets Dillon and William tells her that the only way to shield form neutrinos would be to use water, but they would need an enormous amount. Dillon suggests that they tow the Achaia out of range by rerouting the Salvare's artificial gravity, which Niko approves of.

The Salvare tows the Achaia

The Salvare started towing the Achaia in order to achieve peace.

William tells Niko that another blast was imminent as Dillon rerouted all the exotic matter to the back of the Salvare. They manage to start towing the Achaia and engage the engines, but the artificial gravity begins rerouting to the Salvare again. She tells them to start towing again, but William tells her that there is no time, so Niko makes a tough call and decides to take off, leaving the Achaian vessel to get destroyed.

In the Salvare, Niko asks what had happened and Dillon says that there was an override on the two. She asks Richard where he was and he simply says that he was not undermining the operation. Niko wants to know who did it because the Achaia punch back, but William tells her that the interruption to power was initiated by Iara, who was the only possible option.

Niko tells Richard and William that Iara was mad about what Richard had done to Javier, which confuses him. Niko says that she needs proof that Iara did it and wants to know why, so Dillon offers to go through her activity logs. Niko tells William that that changed their agreement on Iara and tells him that if she did it, she could not stay on the ship.

Iara tortured

Richard and Dillon tortured Iara in order to find out if she had cut the tow.

Dillon tells Richard that there was a massive amount of data and wants to look at a navigation structure, but Iara wonders if he really wanted her to help prove something she did not do, which Richard says might speed the process. Dillon slows down the data and finds a navigation structure, which hurts Iara, but Richard takes advantage of that.

Niko hears Iara's screams, who says that she would confess. She orders Richard and Dillon to make it stop and to drop the firewall. William comforts Iara, who admits to cutting the tow and she leaves. Dillon explains how they found out they could torture her and William defends Iara, saying that he could feel emotion, but Richard says that that was only because it was programmed. Niko says that she could not even be telling the truth now that she was tortured. Richard says that if it was not Iara then it was William, which highly offends him. Niko asks him to go through his records and investigate, which he does once again. Niko tells Richard never to torture anyone again and tells William that he needs to examine everything.

Gabriel introduces himself

Gabriel introduced himself to the crew.

Richard and Dillon watch William's recording, when it is interrupted. William tells Dillon to initialize a level five security shield around him since a process seems to be migrating through his systems. Dillon tries moving it to a sandbox. Richard tells Niko that William was probably corrupted; Dillon wants to open the file, which Niko allows him to do. Once it opens, William turns into Gabriel, who thanks Niko.

Dillon calls Niko to the particle accelerator and tells her not to talk. He tells her that he checked Gabriel's code and found out that he does not know when Gabriel was created, since everything was rewriting itself. Niko tells him to take Gabriel offline and he starts arguing, but wonders why he cannot breathe, collapsing. Niko calls Iara and tells her that Gabriel was venting their air supply, so she tells her to alert Cas before collapsing as well along with the rest of the crew onboard. Meanwhile, Gabriel changes their course to the Rosette Nebula.

Niko resets William

Niko had Dillon reset William when they could not get rid of Gabriel otherwise.

Dillon tells Niko and Iara that in order to bring William back online, Gabriel needed to be released. Niko agrees and William comes back, so the former tells him about the situation, telling him to get control back. However, Gabriel fights against William, so Niko wonders if they could delete Gabriel. Iara says that deleting Gabriel meant deleting William as their codes are too intertwined, so he tells them to delete them both and do a clean reinstall, which Niko is not willing to do since it would kill him. However, he did not see another way and reminds her that the mission comes first. Niko reluctantly orders Dillon to perform a reset and both AIs are deleted.

Niko and Dillon bring William back

Niko and Dillon rebooted William.

Niko tells Dillon that they have company, but it turns out to be a comet. Dillon tells Niko that the AI could be reinitialized, so they bring William back, who does not have his experiences. Niko calls William a clone of the original William, but the AI identifies himself as more of a "factory reset" while Gabriel has been completely deleted. Niko feels uncomfortable with the new William and asks him to bring back the FTL. Dillon tells her that he and Iara were fixing the comms as well. Richard walks in and wants to borrow Iara since he was relieving Niko on deck. Iara does not want to be with Richard, but Dillon says that she does not need to forgive him, but she needs to give Richard a chance to prove himself.

Crew tries using wormhole

The crew of the Salvare tried using wormholes to move fast like the Achaia did.

Iara explains how cosmic strings work and tells her that it was a new discovery she had made. Richard, Dillon and Iara tell Niko that they might be able to use the cosmic strings sort of how the Achaia use them, so they could get the comms working again. Dillon says that it would be tricky, but they give it a try, which shuts the Salvare down for a bit. However, they were able to receive data from Earth, which contained a lot of information.

Dillon tells Cas that he is an uncle, which she congratulates him for blandly.

Niko, William, and Richard prepare for the wormhole

Niko, William, and Richard prepared for the wormhole.

Richard tells Niko that they were at the high-tension loop. She tells William that starting over was not easy for her, which he understands. Cas tells them that Iara, Dillon and herself were all ready. Niko tells the crew that they know what they have to do and they prepare to go home. The wormhole opens and the Salvare starts going through it. They see Jupiter on the other side of the wormhole, but the wormhole started dissipating earlier than expected because the Salvare had too much mass. Niko orders everybody to get to deck 3.

Cas tells William to not turn comms on with Earth

Cas told William not to turn their comms with Earth on.

On the Salvare, the crew is having a rough ride through the wormhole, but William tells Cas that they were orbiting Jupiter. Cas sees that Richard is not there with them, which Dillon finds meant that he was gone. William wants to open comms with Earth, but Cas does not allow him to do so because they need to get information to the right hands. Bernie says that they probably had already detected them, but Cas tells William to protect them from that.

Erik says that they had witnessed an entire ecosystem show up in weapons, proving that the Achaia had proven their good intentions. Cas, William, Bernie, Zayn, and Dillon watch the transmission and confirm that Earth was still fine, but they needed a plan to cloak data containing the information which included weaponizing neutrinos against Achaian tech and Cas wants to know if they would be returning in a good or bad way. Iara does not show up when they call her.

Iara starts getting consumed by Achaian code

Iara started getting consumed by Achaian code, which made her leave Richard behind.

Cas visits Iara and tells her that Niko had chosen to stay, but Richard did not have the choice and Iara reveals that she had left Richard, but says that she would not have done something like that herself. All of a sudden, Iara calmed down and asked them if they wanted to know what Richard looked like trapped in a menacing voice. Iara says that she does not know what is happening to her and Dillon says that the Achaian code was consuming her. Cas tells Dillon to save her because she was their only shot at reopening the wormhole and saving both Niko and Richard.

Dillon cannot figure out how to eliminate the Achaian code, but Cas tells Iara that they would fix her so she could stay on the Salvare. Iara says that William does not need her, but he says he does. She says that no commander would accept her until Dillon says that maybe she could expose the Achaia, but she says the only solution is to kill her. She says that the Achaian code is searching for data on the neutrinos, which worries Cas.

Iara set free

Iara was stored into the shuttle's mainframe, but she believed she was flying into space.

Dillon says that he has finished downloading Iara's matrix into the shuttle's mainframe, which meant she was good to go. Iara asks William to promise he would find her, which he says would not be hard to do. She thanks him for making her and letting her go. After that, she leaves.

William tells Cas, Bernie, Zayn, and Dillon that he would be fine without them because he had to wake people out of soma. Cas tells them that they should keep information about Achaia vulnerability between them until they could figure out how to use it.

Cas, Dillon, Zayn, and Bernie make it back to Earth, where Bernie and Zayn talk about meeting hir mom. Mackenzie welcomes the crew of the Salvare, who get ready to see their loved ones, except for Cas. Zayn is told by hir father that hir mother had a disease.

Zayn, Dillon, Bernie, and Cas are brought to hidden, underground rooms, which Zayn calls illegal since they were being held there against their will. Cas asks to speak to whoever is in charge or a lawyer, but is ignored. When she walks into her room and sees a letter from the president thanking her for her service. However, she is locked into her room.

Dillon, Cas, Bernie get together in the cafeteria, which Bernie says is unfair. Dillon complains about USIC's new reintegration procedure. Zayn joins them and they say that they need to make it through the exit interviews. Zayn is a little distracted, but says ze is doing fine.

Erik tells Cas that he would conduct her exit interview. He asks why Javier had come home brain dead. Dillon says that Sasha and his Achaian implant had done that to Javier. Zayn says that ze took a chance with the surgery, which worked until they encountered the magnetar. Bernie says that while the implant was protecting Javier, it was also being destroyed faster than it could be repaired. Cas explains that they did not leave the magnetar because both Niko and herself were still on the Achaian ring at the time. They thought it would be best to remove Javier's implant since it was deteriorating, but Zayn says that they were not able to determine why. Erik says that it does not make sense and knows that something happened around the magnetar and tells Cas that all he wants is to complete Niko's mission. Cas tells him that they had all made sacrifices and leaves.

Group finds out Seth had been going through their heads

The group found out that Seth had been going through their heads.

Zeyn tells Bernie, Dillon, Cas, and Erik that she remembers the magnetar, but they know that Seth had gone into their brains to retrieve information. Zayn apologizes for having given information in order to save hir mother. Cas says that the Achaia had also offered her something, so she understands. Bernie says that the Achaia are helping them, but Dillon says that they need to follow Niko's orders. However, Bernie thinks Niko is dead; Erik tells him that Niko died so he could be there. They say that William is who knows all the information they need, so they say that they will race Seth in order to get there first.

USIC shows up at the hotel, so Erik gathers Cas, Dillon, Zayn, and Bernie so they could go. Erik tells them that they were going after them since they had talked to him. Cas wonders if they could download William, but Dillon says that the only people with that kind of storage capacity was USIC, so Bernie suggests the Salvare's supply shuttles.

Dillon, Zayn, and Bernie film a video where they say they are being chased by USIC. Dillon tells Mackenzie he is impressed by how fast they found them, but she simply tells them that they are sabotaging everything, which Zayn says is a good thing because they had seen that relationship. Dillon tells Mackenzie that Seth had wiped their memories and murdered people, but she simply asks where Erik and Cas were. Zayn says that they were dead if they revealed it.

Niko tries contacting the Salvare, but does not get through. Richard asks if they could delay they delay the Achaia by nuking them, but Mackenzie says that the Joint Chiefs would refuse to do that. Zayn, Bernie and Dillon approach Niko, who tells them the Achaia had reached them. When asked if she knew for sure that Earth is the target, she simply leaves the tent and tries contacting the Salvare.

Big explosion

While Erik worked on the bomb, everybody saw a big explosion in the sky.

Cas tells Erik and Ursula that she needs the weapon, but they are not ready. Niko tells Cas, Erik, and William to abandon ship, but in the sky, they see a big explosion, which shocks her, Richard, Zayn, Bernie, and Dillon.

Seth used

Cas figured out that the best way to move forward would be to use Seth.

Niko, Richard, Bernie, Zayn, and Dillon are all in shock as they see that the Salvare had been blown up by the Achaia. Everybody is happy that the neutrino bomb had worked, and Niko asks if it could work again, but William says that they do not have enough time. Mackenzie asks what they could do now, and Cas says that there was only one way to find out, which would be using Seth.

Niko gathers the crew and tells them that they have 59 rings around Earth, which Dillon says is too much for them. Everybody discusses how they could beat the Achaia and agree that they need to think outside the box. Cas wonders if they do not want what they have, but would blow up their planet if they did not roll over, which they cannot understand. Niko says that they are seemignly impenetrable, but William says that they are not.

Crew discusses how to defeat the Achaia

The crew discussed how they could defeat the Achaia.

William tells the crew that their coding was DNA, but they now had an analysis into the Achaia at a microscopic level. Zayn asks if it was a model of their DNA, but is told that it was a real scan. Ze sees that the characters were an actual part of the makeup of the Achaia, which was odd. Bernie asks why the Achaia need a written language, which makes Erik think that those things were not the Achaia, but William's evolution. Cas wonders what the Achaia really are and wonder if the real Achaia had been killed off. Niko dismisses that as unimportant and says that they need to fight them. Dillon suggests using a computer virus, which Erik says could be possible. Zayn mentions a flesh and blood version of a trojan horse and says that they could implant the virus into one of them.

Cas says that she should be there instead of Niko, so Dillon tells her that when he lost his leg in the war, everybody in his unit had died and he had felt a lot of guilt, but it had not been his fault. Cas holds his hand after that.

Cas tells Niko that she is fine and only has a concussion. Niko says that she would put her in command for the next mission. Dillon tells Richard that many different wormholes were appearing, but does not know of any natural causes for this. Niko wonders if maybe there were Achaian sympathizers and needs William, who cannot be reached. Niko says that the Salvare had made it, but Richard had not been able to find it.
